Chalet Etoile Filante,

The chalet has been designed with every comfort and style in mind by renowned local chalet builders, Grosset-Janin, and comprises seven en-suite twin/double bedrooms, three on the ground floor and four on the top floor. Two of the ground floor rooms would be ideally suited for families, as they are set apart from the third room. Also on the ground floor is a ski and boot room with entrance for guests leaving for and returning from skiing, and separate toilet for use of all guests.

On the middle floor guests are welcomed in a roomy and cosy porch area, where they can remove outdoor clothing in comfort before entering the chalet. A hall leads to the large L-shaped lounge which has seating for all the guests in comfortable sofas and armchairs surrounding the open fireplace, with fabulous views from the full length sliding glass doors which lead onto the balcony. In one corner is your very own fully stocked bar with a wide range of specialist Whiskies, Champagne and Wines. There is also further seating with Sky TV video/DVD for the enjoyment of guests.

Breakfast and delicious evening meals are served in the dining room, which seats fourteen comfortably. Full length sliding glass doors can be opened to let in fresh air on warmer days and access to the large balcony and garden for al fresco dining and barbecues in fine spring weather.

On the top floor there are four en-suite bedrooms all of which can be twins or doubles. Each has ample wardrobe space, a spacious bathroom with power shower and heated towel rail, and the front rooms have doors leading to a balcony looking down the valley.

The chalet is finished to a very high standard, with under-floor heating on the ground and first levels. The top floor is carpeted and heated by convection heaters for maximum warmth. Soft furnishings throughout have been hand-picked by our interior decorator for a cosy and stylish finish. There is ample hot water from two large boilers and heaters in each bedroom. Details such as plenty of plug points throughout, telephone sockets in every bedroom to make possible internet access, and wireless internet access add the final touches.

The outside of the chalet is as beautiful as the inside, with thoughtfully designed woodwork and masonry.

Breakfast each day will be a hearty feast that will allow you to fuel up in preparation for a good days skiing. We will serve: Tea, Coffee, Orange Juice, a few different items each day (e.g. bacon & eggs, sausage & tomatoes, mushrooms & hash browns, ham & cheese), fresh french pastries, yoghurts, toast, fresh french bread, porridge, fresh fruits, dried fruits and a selection of cereals.

Upon your return from your days skiing you will be welcomed by afternoon tea which you can take in front of the real log fire. You'll be able to relax with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a slice of cake. If you fancy something a little stronger then you could always enjoy a bit of apres ski and make use of the in-chalet bar!

For dinner we will serve you amazing local specialities along with other specially chosen menus. Our policy is to use local produce wherever possible and to make sure that the superb food served to you is a memorable part of your holiday. Six nights of the week we will serve 4 courses along with a selection of fine wines. After dinner we will provide coffee and after dinner chocolates in the lounge where you can also enjoy a drink from our bar.
