Les Arcs is a brilliant ski resort; the slopes offer a great variety and some of the longest descents in the Alps. There is an excellent area of woodland runs and great cruising mixed with some hard core steep stuff. The Vanoise Express link with La Plagne means a truly vast terrain to explore - 425km in total in the Paradiski ski area. The resort is made up of four villages, linked by road, high above the town of Bourg-St-Maurice. The new ski in/ski out village of Arc 1950 is situated right by a 300-year old pine forest and faces Mont Blanc. Three ski lifts provide direct access to Arc 1600, 1800 and 2000.
