Andorra

Andorra is a small principality nestled high in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain. It has a good range of ski resorts which are suited to beginners and intermediates. It is an especially good place for learner’s to progress and boasts some of the best ski schools with English-speaking instructors.

Andorra has some of the best skiing conditions in Europe and Pas de la Casa is one of the most popular skiing destinations in Andorra thanks to its snow sure altitude. Combined with Soldeu, EnCamp and Canillo it forms the Grandvalira area which is the largest area in the Pyreness. Grandvalira boasts 200km of pistes which is linked by a high-speed lift network and a vertical drop of 930 metres, there is also a snowpark in Soldeu.

Andorra’s main attraction is its duty-free goods making it a very popular destinations for those who wish to combine a skiing and shopping holiday. One of the distinctive features of Andorra is that it holds a captivating blend of French and Spanish customs. Andorra is served by two main airports, Toulouse – Blagnac in France and Barcelona in Spain.
